Season Three *The Morning Show* Series

Variety reports that “The Morning Show” has been renewed for Season 3 at Apple, with Charlotte Stoudt boarding the series as showrunner.

“I’m excited to be joining forces with Apple TV Plus and ‘The Morning Show,’” said Stoudt. “The cast, led by the phenomenal Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, are truly to die for. Kerry, Mimi and Michael, and the teams at Media Res, Hello Sunshine and Echo Films, have created an irresistible world that is equally delicious and provocative.”

Watch *The Morning Show* Season 2 Trailer

The Morning Show Season 1 ended with Jennifer Aniston’s character Alex quitting UBA after exposing the network’s toxic work environment. Alex quitting left her co-host Bradley (Reese Witherspoon) on her own, and in season 2, Bradley finds an ally in new character Laura Peterson, played by Julianna Margulies.

This September 17, The Morning Show returns for season 2 and the trailer for the new season looks incredibly bleak. Everyone is seen here with miserable, frightened, or angry looks on their faces as a creepy version of “New York, New York” plays over it all. Who will survive The Morning Show, and what will be left of them?

Jared Leto ‘WeCrashed’ Series

Apple TV+ is developing a WeCrashed TV series based on the podcast of the same name, and Jared Leto is in talks to star. This Is Us directors Glenn Ficarra and John Requa are set to helm the series, which tells the true story of WeWork, a commercial real estate company once valued at $47 billion dollars until it all came crashing down due to mismanagement and a general lack of vision. Basically, the folks behind the company bullshitted their way to success, but bullshit only gets you so far.
