Following the continued success of its “Arrowverse,” the CW is looking to establish a new line of series: the “Drew-niverse.” The network is developing a spinoff from its “Nancy Drew” mystery drama called “Tom Swift,” Variety has learned. Like “Nancy Drew,” the prospective show is inspired by the Stratemeyer Syndicate series of novels.

Today at New York Comic Con, the stars of DC’s Stargirl joined creator/executive producer Geoff Johns to recap Season 1 and tease what’s to come in Season 2. During the virtual panel with actors Brec Bassinger, Yvette Monreal, Anjelika Washington, Cameron Gellman and Meg DeLacy, Johns said that we can expect.

Significant Mother and Life Sentence creators Erin Cardillo and Richard Keith are heading back to The CW. The network has put into development mystery drama Pandora’s Box and Ship from the pair. The duo will write and exec produce via their production firm In Good Company with the Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas.

The Winchesters’ work may not yet be done on “Supernatural,” but their portrayers, Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, already have to think about shedding Dean and Sam and stepping into new characters.
