Is The Force Strong Enough *Obi-Wan Kenobi* Season Two?

On the heels of the Season 1 finale EP/director Deborah Chow is revealing that the six-episode drama was not intended to be an ongoing series saying “We really did conceive it to be a limited series,”

Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, meanwhile, says the decision for a season 2 for this Star Wars spin off series ultimately rests with the fans. “If there’s huge engagement and people really want more Obi-Wan, we’ll certainly give that consideration because the fans, they speak to us. And if we feel like, ‘OK, there’s a real reason to do this; it’s answering the why then,’ then we’ll do it. But we’ll see.”

Every galaxy has an underworld. The Wrap Reports: “The Book of Boba Fett” has a lot going for it – it’s the first spin-off of the insanely popular “The Mandalorian;” it returns Temuera Morrison, who played the character of Jango Fett in the prequels and in the last season of “The Mandalorian,” with the franchise; and is the first nonanimated “Star Wars” story of any kind since “The Mandalorian’s” second season concluded way back on Dec. 18, 2020.

‘Willow’ TV Series Will Be Directed by Jon M. Chu

We’ve heard rumblings of a Willow TV series, and now it’s official. Jon M. Chu, director of Crazy Rich Asians and In the Heights, is set to direct a Willow TV series for Disney+, with Willow star Warwick Davis returning as Willow Ufgood. Ron Howard, who directed the film, is also on board as executive producer. Released in 1988, the fantasy epic Willow came from a story by George Lucas, and while it was not the huge blockbuster Lucasfilm was hoping for, it turned a profit – and developed a strong following thanks to home video.
