Unidentified with Demi Lovato is an unscripted series that follows Lovato and skeptical best friend Matthew and sister Dallas, as they search for the truth about the UFO phenomena. While consulting with leading experts, Demi, Dallas and Matthew will investigate recent eyewitness encounters, uncover secret government reports, and conduct tests at known UFO hot spots. Judging by the trailer, it seems as if Demi is an actual true believer in UFOs, and she’ll look to convince many of her friends and family that extraterrestrial life does exist.

Abramorama Lands ‘Soros’ Documentary

Abramorama has acquired U.S. distribution rights to Soros, the Jesse Dylan-directed documentary feature about billionaire activist George Soros from Vital Pictures. The film, which had its U.S. premiere at the Telluride Film Festival, will get a live streaming premiere on November 18 on the film’s website.

‘Leap of Faith’ The ‘Exorcist’ Documentary

Alexandre O. Philippe has already explored classic horror films with his documentaries 78/52: Hitchcock’s Shower Scene and Memory: The Origins of Alien, and now he’s done it again with Leap of Faith. This latest doc delves into The Exorcist, William Friedkin’s iconic classic about a little girl possessed by a demonic force. There have already been several documentaries devoted to The Exorcist, but Leap of Faith takes a cue from Noah Baumbach and Jake Paltrow’s documentary De Palma by sticking with one source: William Friedkin. Leap of Faith has been making the festival circuit and is now headed to Shudder.
