Gretchen Mol has been tapped as the female lead opposite Jon Bernthal in Showtime’s pilot ‘American Gigolo,’ an update of the 1980 film noir classic that starred Richard Gere and Lauren Hutton. The project hails from David Hollander, Paramount TV Studios and Jerry Bruckheimer Television. Written and directed by Hollander.

Donal Logue Joins ‘Resident Evil’ Reboot

The Resident Evil reboot cast is still growing. A bunch of names – including Kaya Scodelario, Robbie Amell, Hannah John-Kamen, and more – were previously announced, and now, Donal Logue, everyone’s favorite Donal, is joining the cast as well. Logue will play Brian Irons, Chief of Police of Raccoon City, where the story takes place. Chad Rook and Lily Gao have also signed on to what is shaping up to be an adaptation far more faithful to the original games than the 2002 film.

‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ Reboot Poster Brings Back the Face of Madness

Leatherface is ready to fire-up the old chainsaw again for yet another Texas Chainsaw Massacre reboot. The new Texas Chainsaw is due out sometime next year, and ahead of that release, a new website for the film has launched, complete with an admittedly cool teaser poster. A first look at Hulu’s upcoming Steven Spielberg-produced “Animaniacs” reboot is here. The teaser clip was revealed during Sunday’s “Animaniacs” cast and producer panel at New York Comic Con, and features an animated Spielberg introducing Yakko, Wakko and Dot within the world of “Jurassic Park.”
